Forward deck shelter under demolition, timber decking on bridge deck completely removed.
Crankshaft ashore and being degreased and protected in preparation for transport to Mitchell Shackleton’s works in Manchester for machining of the main journals.

Forward lounge now completely stripped including bar and timber bulkhead forming forward cross alleyway.
Forward end of lounge, timber decking being removed exposing crew accommodation compartment below. Removal of this deck is proving to be a difficult job.
Officers and Stewards accommodation completely stripped. Water tank on left hand side still to remove.
