At 6.15pm on Saturday 24th July Kingswear Castle left the Dartmouth pontoon for an evening cruise to help raise funds towards her proposed rebuild over the next three winters.

There were about 100 aboard, mostly from the locality.

The cruise was organised by Chris Phillips on behalf of the Wessex and Dart Branch of the PSPS and the Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle Trust and we are all very grateful for all the hard work which went into making the evening such a success. After a difficult day for weather Chris even managed to make the sun shine on the evening cruise.
