The Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle Trust, which owns Kingswear Castle on behalf of the Society, has made a donation of £2,000 to the PSPS for the Waverley Boiler Refit Appeal.

Trustee John Megoran, who ran the business of operating KC on the Medway and Thames for nearly 30 years said “With KC currently enjoying a stable business model back home on the River Dart we just felt that we should do our little bit to help Waverley in her hour of need. I feel sure that if the boot were ever on the other foot, then Waverley Steam Navigation would do the same for us.”
