“Clydebuilt: The Ships that Made the Commonwealth”

A new television series “Clydebuilt: The Ships that Made the Commonwealth” will be broadcast on BBC Two Scotland from 9pm Monday 31st March.

Over four one-hour episodes presenter David Hayman (pictured above) explores the stories of four Clydebuilt ships that helped forge links with countries throughout the world.

Episode 1 is about Cutty Sark with subsequent episodes covering the CS Mackay-Bennett, Robert E. Lee and HMS Hood. Waverley makes several cameo appearances.
