Waverley’s First Cruise in 2020

Waverley was able to undertake her first cruise since October 2018 on Saturday 22nd August 2020.

This took her from Glasgow to Loch Long and Loch Goil, calling at Blairmore.

Graeme Phanco was on hand to photograph the steamer’s return upriver under the Erskine Bridge. Numbers on board are limited to just over 200 to allow for social distancing. Regrettably the cruise scheduled for the previous day could not take place due to delays issuing the necessary certificates.
