The mighty paddler came out of hibernation for five days over Easter. She steamed from Glasgow to Rothesay, Tighnabruaich, Round the Cumbaes, Loch Striven and the three Lochs. Altogether 4,368 passengers were carried.

This picture was taken by Jon Davies, who served in the crew over the weekend, on the day he left the ship (3rd April 2002). Here we see the Waverley at Anderston Quay just after completing her successful Easter timetable. In the view are some of the Crew making the necessary changes for her to go back into brief lay-up until her main Season begins on 3rd May 2002.
