On 22 June 2019, Wessex & Dart Branch again took advantage of one of the ‘promotional cruises’ agreed when KC returned to the Dart.
On 11th December the paddle steamer Kingswear Castle left the Medway, under tow (by the tug Christine) bound for the river Dart, where she was built in 1924 and plied her trade running river trips, until 1965. Kingswear Castle is set to return to the River Dart on a 15 year charter by Dart Pleasure Craft in association with the Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat Company.
