Scottish Branch committee member David Shirres has laboured over the dark winter months, not only as a regular member of Waverley’s volunteer work parties, but also to produce a fine set of double-sided guide cards packed with information.

The laminated cards cover the three Clyde sailing areas; the River Clyde from Pacific Quay down to the Tail of the Bank, the northern reaches of the Firth of Clyde including Lochs Long, Goil and Fyne, and finally from Largs down to Girvan and Ailsa Craig. The set also includes a fourth overview card and a protective wallet, all for only £5. The River Clyde card may also be purchased separately from the set for £1.20.

David’s guide cards go on sale in Waverley’s souvenir shop from Friday.
