Remembering Two Former Chiefs
This photograph by the late Alan Brown shows two former Chief Engineers of PS Waverley and MV Balmoral, the late Ian Muir and the late Ian McMillan.
Both gentlemen made significant contributions to the continuation of the two vessels in the 1980s and 1990s.
Ian MacMìllan, who died suddenly on the 19th July 2014, was the Project Director of the £7.2m Waverley Rebuild Phases 1 & 2 (1999-2003) and the re-engining of MV Balmoral in 2006. He was also Chairman of. Waverley Excursions until 2010.
Sadly, both gentlemen were taken too early.
