The draw took place on 26th October at the Society’s AGM at York and was made by Captain John Megoran, skipper of P.S. Kingswear Castle from 1985 until 2012.

Thanks are due to everyone who supported us by buying tickets and making additional donations. We are also very grateful to those members who spent time on board the ships to sell the tickets and administer the Draw.

The total raised was £22,871!

The Society is a company limited by guarantee (having no share capital), registered in England and Wales No. 2167853, and a charity registered in England and Wales (298328) and in Scotland (SC037603). The Society is governed by its Articles of Association which set out its objects which may be summarised as to preserve in operation paddle steamers, to educate the public in their historical significance and to preserve relics and other materials associated with paddle steamers.
