As John Megoran mentioned in his ‘Kingswear Castle Report’ published in the Spring 2021 edition of ‘Paddle Wheels’, the Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle Trust has a new website.

In his Report John recalled that it is now almost 30 years since the bottom of KC’s hull was replated and 20 years since her new boiler, rebuilt the sponsons, put on a new bow and completely rebuilt the paddle boxes. You can view pictorial accounts of this work in the history section of the new website.

John also warned that the time is approaching when KC needs another rebuild, hence a key feature of the new website is the ability to collect donations online towards this future rebuild.
