Some of you were aboard Waverley on 8th August for the PSPS Scottish Branch charter to celebrate 40 years of preservation.

On that day, Len Goodman (of Strictly Come Dancing fame), was aboard filming one of the programmes of his new series currently being shown nationally on the BBC, “Holiday of my Lifetime”. The programme this coming Thursday 30th October at 3.45pm BBC One, features the antiques expert Anita Manning, being interviewed by Len as she recalls childhood holidays going “Doon the Watter” to Rothesay on a paddle steamer for her summer holidays.

Needless to say, the Waverley features prominently! Enjoy!
