On Thursday 26th June, under the command of Captain Colledge, Waverley departed Largs for an evening cruise to the Kyles of Bute via Keppel.

The Branch is grateful to the Captain, officers and crew of Waverley, the staff at Lancefield Quay and all those who helped make this a successful event.

Some passengers chose to skip the queue. Loch Riddon and Loch Shira cross in the background. In the distance is the French cable ship René Descartes. She has been busy laying fibre optic telecoms cables between Largs and Millport, and Cumbrae and Kilchattan Bay.
