The PSPS (Scottish Branch) is delighted to announce that we have now arranged our annual evening charter of Waverley. This year’s charter is a first for Waverley since she will be offering an evening cruise round Bute from Tighnabruaich, Largs and Millport (Keppel Pier) – a cruise which has never been offered before!

Over the past few years the Scottish Branch has successfully chartered Waverley offering unique sailings and raised significant funds which have been donated back to the ship to ensure her continued operation. Just this winter the Branch donated £18,000 to cover the cost of 12 replacement paddle floats. In 2015 the Branch provided funds to replace the life jacket locker covers and covered the cost of the production of Waverley Times which helped raise further funds. All these items have been funded thanks to the success of the Branch’s annual fundraising charters. All are invited to help ensure that this year’s charter is just as successful by joining us for a very special evening cruise on Wednesday 20th July.

The sunset cruise will depart Tighnabruaich Pier at 5.25pm as Waverley returns from Tarbert. She will depart Largs at 7pm and then call at Millport (Keppel Pier) at 7.20pm before cruising round Bute, returning to Tighnabruaich at 8.50pm. Waverley will then sail through the world famous Kyles of Bute before finally returning to Largs at 10.20pm and Keppel at 10.40pm.

Tickets are now on sale at a discounted rate of £22 for adults  (£11 for children under 18) when purchased in advance! On the day fares for adults will be £25 (£12.50 for children). There is a further discount for parties of 10 or more (£20 per adult) when booked in advance.
