On Monday August 8th 1955 Cardiff Queen left Swansea early in perfect weather for Ilfracombe for a 10.30am departure for Milford Haven to see the Royal Yacht with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh aboard. The Society is a company limited by guarantee (having no share capital), registered in England and Wales No. 2167853, and a charity registered in England and Wales (298328) and in Scotland (SC037603).
