70 Years of Waverley – Souvenir Booklet

To mark the 70th Anniversary of Waverley’s maiden voyage in June 1947 the Scottish Branch has produced a 16 page photo souvenir booklet. This limited edition photo souvenir gives a brief overview of Waverley’s career and the various colour schemes she has witnessed.

The booklet contains some previously unpublished photographs of the ship and is priced at just £3 with all proceeds going towards the continued operation and preservation of Waverley. The booklet is now in stock and available from the Souvenir Shop on board Waverley but supplies are limited.

There are a total of 31 photos of Waverley in the booklet depicting her early career as one of a number of steamers on the Clyde through the period of her early preservation and also covering her heritage rebuild in 2000/2003.  A few of the photographs contained in the booklet are shown here.

Waverley creates an atmospheric scene as she departs Rothesay during the mid 1960s.
