On 25th August 1928 you could have boarded the veteran paddle steamer Royal Sovereign at Old Swan Pier, next to London Bridge, for a day trip to Southend, Margate and Ramsgate. She was then towards the end of her career with only one more season to go: 25th August 1928: Royal Sovereign & London Belle – Kingswear Castle

The Society is a company limited by guarantee (having no share capital), registered in England and Wales No. 2167853, and a charity registered in England and Wales (298328) and in Scotland (SC037603). Registered Office Mayfield, Hoe Lane, Abinger Hammer, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6RS.
