Waverley has Returned to Service
Waverley welcomed her first passengers of the 2021 season aboard on Tuesday June 29 with everyone enjoying the idyllic sailing conditions. Highlights so far include sailing through the Kyles of Bute to Tarbert, and cruising the west coast of Arran and round Holy Isle with the glorious backdrop of Arran’s highest peak – Goatfell. The featured picture was taken by Gordon Wilson as the paddler steamed through Lamlash Bay, Isle of Arran, on July 1.
The published sailing programme has daily sailings (except July 5, 12 & August 3) operating until August 22. Sailings will take place beyond this date with the exact sailing programme dependent on how Covid restrictions ease.
The Clyde sailing programme has a wide variety of sailings with popular cruises such as Round Ailsa Craig, Loch Striven, the Kyles of Bute and North Arran Coast featuring. Advance booking is recommended as some sailings may sell out, otherwise tickets can be purchased on board when you sail. Book online now at waverleyexcursions.co.uk.
For those who donated to the Boiler Refit Appeal in 2019, we have now installed the donor wall recording over 7,500 names. This can be viewed in forward section of the engine room alleyways.
On board Waverley you will find full catering facilities on offer including a range of fresh Scottish produce. This season we are serving Isle of Barra Haddock in the Dining Saloon which is proving very popular.
