A few photographs of Waveleys sailings in the Western Isles at the end of May 2010. On the whole, the weather was good, but cold – only one wet and miserable day. I must be a southern softy, on arrival at Oban, I went straight out and bought gloves, scarf and thermal hat!
Unfortunately, I had forgotten to charge my camera battery before I flew north, so didn’t take as many photos as I’d have liked to.
All clean and shiny, ready for a new season and a 7.00am departure from Glasgow
7.00am start for the run up to Fort William
Alongside Fort William. 30 minutes ashore, time to take photos.
Reflection at Fort William
Arriving at Armadale (Isle of Skye)
Sunshine for the trip to Tiree
All in all good trips and very beautiful scenery – will do it again sometime.
