On Thursday 26th June, under the command of Captain Colledge, Waverley departed Largs for an evening cruise to the Kyles of Bute via Keppel.
Waverley will now call at Keppel Pier rather than Millport Old Pier on the annual Branch fundraising cruise. This year the cruise takes her from Largs and Keppel through the Kyles of Bute.
A new set of informative guide cards covering the River Clyde and Firth of Clyde may be purchased on board Waverley from Friday.
Waverley left Garvel Dry Dock today and returned to her berth at Pacific Quay in preparation for her 2014 season.

Following the success of the Ship Ahoy Maritime Heritage Exhibition last year, the Ship Ahoy Team has decided to mount a similar exhibition, in a new venue, on Saturday 5th April 2014.

In the 40th year of WSN the Scottish Branch will be promoting both Waverley and the Maid of the Loch Appeal at Scotland’s biggest model railway show.
The Scottish Branch has arranged two charters for 2014; the Branch’s annual fundraising cruise on 26th June and a full day charter on 8th August marking the 40th anniversary of the sale of Waverley to the Society.
In 2014 three Swiss Paddle Steamers celebrate their 100th birthday. The class of 1914 includes Stadt Rapperswil on Lake Zurich, Savoie on Lake Geneva and Lötschberg on Lake Brienz.
Considering the recent weather there was a little doubt cast over the Scottish Branch Festive Cruise but fortunately the weather abated sufficiently, allowing the Branch charter to go ahead as planned.
Our festive cruise on 28th December which leaves Greenock at 1100. We cruise to Loch Goil with a call at Blairmore and should be back at 1530.
